We are seeking a Research Engineer to join our team as we expand our operations. As a pivotal member of the Engineering & Research team, you will collaborate with other engineers, research scientists, product managers, and data analysts to develop data-driven products. In this role, you'll be actively involved in extracting data from diverse sources, analyzing it to derive insights, and collaborating with the team to develop models and pipelines.

This will be a work-from-office role, based in our office in New York,US.

Responsibilities:

• Research and explore cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI and neural networks with a focus on developing innovative solutions for complex problems.

• Interpret business needs and translate them into actionable steps.

• Collaborate with product managers to propose suitable solutions for product development requirements.

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of various data sources and effectively utilize them for specific use cases.

• Contribute to the creation of intellectual property that benefits Propheus and its partners.

• Optimize code for efficiency and create reusable code and libraries for future applications.

• Solicit feedback and develop solutions for users and customers.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and skill sets.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from a reputed institution.

• 3 – 5 years of experience, with proficiency in Python, Apache Spark (Java, Scala, Python), and other Big Data Technologies, SQL, and NoSQL Databases.

• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and deep neural networks.

• Experience in developing and optimizing data pipelines.

• Proficiency in AWS/MS Azure cloud services.

• Demonstrated experience in BI/reporting/data visualization.

• Experience in structured analysis and query optimization using SQL.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
